Neighborhood Watch | South Milwaukee, WI

Must Read

Neighborhood Watch MembersNeighborhood watch groups are a great way to connect with your neighbors and have a positive impact on your community. The City of South Milwaukee currently has several active block watch groups throughout the community, and the South Milwaukee Police Department collaborates with these groups to make our neighborhoods more secure. Officers attend the block watch meetings, provide information on crime trends, and educate our citizens on steps they can take to prevent crime. At the same time, officers are able to gain valuable information from the block watch groups regarding suspicious activity and problem properties. This dialogue allows us to be more effective in addressing crime and disorder and ultimately makes everyone safer.

Starting a Neighborhood Watch Group

If interested in starting a Neighborhood Watch group in your neighborhood, the South Milwaukee Police Department Crime Prevention Unit will assist you in getting started. For more information or for assistance in organizing/starting a Neighborhood Watch group, please contact Officer Brenna Sibley.
