The Library of Things is a special collection of items such as cake pans and cookie cutters that can be checked out from the Garland libraries with your Garland library card. This collection is a natural evolution of the library’s traditional lending model and supports Garland’s sustainability efforts while perpetuating a learning environment. This collection allows our patrons to “try before you buy”, save money, and to discover something new. Things can be placed on hold, and transferred to any branch, just not to the kiosks.
